Summer Sabbatical & Family Worship

Sundays in July is our SUMMER SABBATICAL at Double Oak Community Church. In addition, we will also enjoy FAMILY WORSHIP during this time.

SUMMER SABBATICAL is an important time of rest and renewal for our leaders. During this time we will not have Community Groups for any age.

For FAMILY WORSHIP on Sundays in July, our Kid (K-5th) will join parents in our main worship service (Double Oak Kids worship will not take place Sundays in July).

We think this is an important time in our church to both allow our leaders a time of rest and renwal while also modeling worship and enjoy receiving God's Word together.

Preschool (Birth-PreK) will continue to meet during both services all summer.

This session will focus on: (1) how to use the Bible Tools, (2) how to use the Factbook, and (3) how to use the Smart Search tools in the Logos App. These three tools provide a strong foundation for maximizing the Logos App for personal Bible study and spiritual growth.

NOTE: To make the best use of Jessica’s time, it is important that everyone have their Logos account set up and the app downloaded on their phone prior to the training. To set up your Logos account and download the app, CLICK HERE TO GET STARTED.

Trunk or Treat 2024

We know you are never too old for candy, or great fellowship and fun...that’s why Trunk or Treat is for everyone! We want all of our community to join us for this fun, family event! No matter your life stage, Trunk or Treat is a great event to experience—enjoy the magician (shows at 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm), inflatables for the kids, popcorn, candy and more. The kids love walking around to the decorated cars to collect their candy (and the adults may enjoy dressing up and handing out candy at their cars even more)!

TRUNK OR TREAT

SUNDAY, OCT. 27, 2024 • 3PM - 5PM

MT. LAUREL SQUARE

If you worship with us regularly we would love for you to help serve our community through a variety of ways to help make this event a success! It takes a lot of help to throw a party this big.

First, please join us in praying for this outreach event! And what is Trunk or Treat without decorated Trunks and Games? We ask that you please consider signing up for a space! We also have some volunteer needs before, during and after the event. This is a great way to serve. Whether it is praying for this event, decorating your vehicle and manning your trunk with candy or donating your time before or after the event, we would really appreciate your help!
