Worship Pastor
The worship pastor at DOCC will plan, prepare, and lead worship services and provide worship elements in pastoral contexts (such as weddings and funerals) in partnership with the senior pastor. He will also identify, train, and equip worship leadership teams which are a blend of professional and volunteer musicians and vocalists. This position requires a high level of leadership and musicianship. The ideal candidate will be skilled vocally and on multiple instruments. He will also be proficient in Planning Center for worship planning and scheduling.
The worship pastor will also help develop and oversee worship structures in next gen areas (children and students) by training and working with the bands and vocalists who lead those gatherings.
As a part of the ministry staff, the worship pastor will serve as a member of the Executive Team, the church's senior leadership team.
Seminary degree preferred. A minimum of five years experience in a large, multi-service church context required.
Middle School Minister
The Middle School Minister will provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of ministry for 6th-8th grades and serve as the point of contact and connection for all students, parents, volunteers, and families within that span of care. He or she will partner with the High School Minister to lead a ministry for the students at DOCC that provides shared large group gatherings and events as well as community groups and Bible skills and teaching geared toward the spiritual formation stages of 6th-8th grade students.
