MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY | 6TH-8TH

OUR WHY: We believe that every 6th-8th grade student is created by God, loved by God, and has a God-given purpose.

OUR MISSION: We love Middle School students where they are and help them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY VALUES:

1. Growing In Spiritual Maturity (Gospel Guided)

2. Living In Spiritual Community (Family Focused)

3. Serving In Spiritual Charity (Mission Minded)

SUNDAY MORNINGS | 9 AM

MIDDLE SCHOOL WILL MEET AT 9 AM UPSTAIRS IN THE COMMUNITY BUILDING

Middle School students meet in age and gender specific community groups, led by consistent adult leaders. They'll journey through the Bible chronologically—Genesis to Revelation—learning to see Jesus in every part of Scripture. This small-group setting builds trust, fosters spiritual growth, and helps students form Christ-centered relationships while hearing diverse, godly voices that point them to Jesus.

We encourage ALL of our students to join the rest of our congregation for our 10:45 AM Worship Service in the main Worship Room!

MidWeek | WEDNESDAY NIGHTS 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM

MIDDLE WILL MEET IN THE STUDENT WORSHIP ROOM UPSTAIRS IN THE COMMUNITY BUILDING

Midweek is our large group gathering where students engage with Scripture through topical teaching, worship, games, and discussions. They’ll explore local and global missions, build community, and grow in their faith in an age-appropriate, dynamic environment.

EXTRAS

Monthly Outreach Events:
Fun, themed nights like Glow Parties, Friendsgiving, and “Everybody’s Birthday” are designed to welcome new students and give our Leadership Team opportunities to invite friends and share Jesus.

Celebrate 20 years of community at Double Oaks with Many Names, One God, a heartfelt podcast featuring reflections from middle school students. Through their 6th-8th grade voices, listeners are invited to explore diverse perspectives and many names of God!

The middle school students reflect on the many names of God—why they matter, what they reveal, and how they remind us that God’s presence is bigger than any single word.

Each name tells a story, and together they show stories of faith across generations. Full of youthful wisdom, this special anniversary project is a reminder of how the next generation is already loving God.
