Men’s Ministry
At Double Oak, we want men to experience connectedness. As men, we tend to isolate ourselves believing the lie that we can handle life on our own. The truth is we need other men around us to encourage, help, and challenge us along the way. We were designed to be in community. This is what Jesus does in our lives. He brings us into relationship with God, but also with others. He brings us out of isolation and into community.
Our goal in Men’s Ministry is to connect men in community leading to discipleship relationships. We seek to do this through events, Men’s Bible studies and men’s discipleship groups. For more information about our Men’s Ministry, please contact Steve Layton.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDIES
We have three different opportunities for Men to participate in a Bible Study utilizing The Man Church, The Pursuit curriculum. The Pursuit challenges men to model their lives and their manhood after Jesus by spending five weeks each on 8 characteristics modeled by Christ.
These Bible Studies are offered on various days, but will follow our MidWeek schedule.
SUNDAY NIGHTS | 6 pm - 8 pm | Led by Bryan Cornelius | ANNEX | BEGINS 8/10
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS | 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm | Led by Mark Berthiaume | C-11 | BEGINS 8/13

MEN’S BREAKFAST
Check the events listed below for our upcoming Men’s Breakfast events. Most will be on Saturday’s in the Café, but sometimes we will also meet during the week or at various restaurants around the area. Our Breakfasts are a great time for building community, inviting friends and neighbors and enjoying a brief message and time of prayer together.
