We are so excited to welcome your family into the 6th grade and the Middle School Ministry! We know this is a big transition, and we are expectant of what the Lord will do through your student in Middle School. 

This free FAMILY event will include dinner, snacks, a parent handbook, professional photos, games, prizes, prayer, and most importantly a student Bible dedication! 

Girls Night Out-THURSDAY, JUNE 26 | 6 pm - 7:30 pm | Community Building | $10 PER GIRL

Middle School Girls (6th-8th grade) and incoming 6th grade girls, join us for our second summer GNO (Girls Night Out). We will be creating Charm Necklace's on either a jewelry chain or a bandana with all of your favorite things represented in our charm selection! Bring a friend!

High School Students (rising 9th graders-graduated 12th grade seniors) join us for a high school hangout directly following the service on June 1st from 12:30 pm-2:30 pm for lunch and games. We will have Taco Mama for lunch and a time to hangout with one another. Come and bring your friends as we celebrate the start of your summer.

Middle School Students (6th-8th grade) join us for a Luau to celebrate school's out! Wear your best Hawaiian attire and get ready to limbo!

We are excited to honor our 2025 Graduates on Sunday, May 18th.

We will have a special breakfast for graduates and their immediate family during the 9 am hour of service and recognition will directly follow this during the 10:45 am Worship Service.

Join us on Wednesday, May 14, 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm to meet Rocky Mayo, our candidate for DOCC’s High School Minister position.

Adam will lead a Q&A session with Rocky in the Worship Room starting at 6:15 pm. Following you will have a chance to meet Rocky in the Commons and enjoy some delicious Italian Ice from Jeremiah’s! We hope you can join us.

We will have a Business Meeting (at the end of each service) on June 1 to vote on Rocky as a Candidate for our High School Minister.

THURSDAY, MAY 8 | 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM | STUDENT WORSHIP ROOM

Middle School Moms! Bring your 6th-8th grade student for a mom and student bonding activity, a MEXICAN FOOD Charcuterie Board Class! Treasure this time with your pre-teen and learn to make an adorable/tasty snack!

$20 per Mom/Student pair will include a mini wooden board and food supplies! Each additional student will be $5. Click below to sign up!

We will have a Student Ministry Parent Meeting on Sunday, May 4 in the worship room following second service. We will share an overall Student Ministry Update so we would love for you all to attend.

Following we will have a mandatory meeting for parents of kids that are attending our Student Life Camp. We will be able to share guidelines, complete paperwork and answer questions. If you are unable to attend please contact Sydney Houston to complete required paperwork for your student!

High school girls (9th-12th grade) join us Sunday, April 27th, 5 pm - 7 pm in the Cafe for Pizza and Painting!

We will enjoy a meal together and be led in a painting activity by Rorie Scroggins. We hope you will invite your friends to join you as well! We can't wait to enjoy this time of community with one another!

Middle School Girls and incoming Middle School Girls—join us for this summer's series of Girls Night Out (GNO)! Our first event of the season is April 25, 6 pm - 7:30 pm. We will be decorating Bible Covers with bows, stickers, tassels, ribbon, and more! You are welcome to invite friends to come to this.

6th-8th Grade MS Students—join us Wednesday, March 12 for a Lucky Charms Party during Middle School MidWeek as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We will eat fun treats, play some games, wear green, and most importantly share the gospel of Jesus Christ with new students! Bring a new friend (also in 6th-8th grade) and wear your best green outfit and join us in the Student Worship Room for a very special MidWeek!

Double Oak Students (MS & HS), get in the March Madness and enjoy your day off school with at the Mt. Laurel Basketball court from 10 am-12 pm. We will enjoy some friendly competition at our basketball tournament! Check with Student Ministry for important paperwork that needs to be completed in order to participate.

Middle School Students! Whether you are all about the Super Bowl or Galentines, join us for the Galentines and Game Super Bowl Party! We will eat Zaxby's, watch the Super Bowl on the big screen, and have all your classic Galentines activities! Join us and bring a friend!

$5 per student (6th-8th grade) and the event will be in the student worship room, 5 pm - 7 pm

Middle School Dads and Dudes, join us for a game of flag football, Buffalo Wild Wings, and a message from an Alabama football player and his son! For $20 a pair, and an extra $5 per additional child this a great opportunity for dads and sons to navigate this stage of life together through good family, football, and food!

Guest Speakers: Adam and Mandy Calvert. Adam is a Licensed Professional Counselor/Supervisor and a Certified Addiction Therapist!  He has served on several professional boards in the mental health profession. Adam has over 20 years’ experience in the counseling field. Adam and his wife Mandy are faithful Christians, and are the parents of two sons.
