True gratitude starts with recognizing our great God who loves and provides for us out of His grace and mercy. Fostering a grateful heart brings joy to our lives and those around us. It turns our eyes off ourselves and helps us cherish the time and relationships we have in new ways. Jump in with us this summer as we dig into this topic using scripture as our guide. Discover truths that transform us into women who are genuinely grateful to the Lord and are blessings to each other. Each session will be a stand-alone lesson led by a different teacher with any needed materials provided.

This will be a fun evening of celebrating fall, delicious food, friendship and the goodness of the Lord. Fall weather means it's finally perfect weather for a soup night! What about a theologian? If you are a follower of Christ, you are both. We are called by Jesus to be disciples sent to make disciples, but we must first have a firm foundation in what we believe. Using You Are a Theologian as a framework, we will dig into the scriptures and gain a deeper understanding of our theology. We hope you join us for this ten-week study.

Have you imagined what it was like to chat with Jesus during His earthly ministry?  In this eight-week study, we will take a close look at people who did meet Him face to face.  In each session, we will focus on different men or women who had personal encounters with Jesus.  We will dig into these episodes in Scripture and see how He speaks to us today through them. All you need for this study is a Bible; any other materials will be provided.  Come join us!

The Gospel on the Ground is the story of how Jesus’ message of hope and reconciliation spread from Jerusalem and continues to spread throughout the world today. Join us for a seven-week study of the early years of the church as told in the book of Acts. We will learn that the kingdom of God is always on the move, offering purpose and joy to those longing for true fulfillment. Along the way we will come to understand the part we are meant to play in the redemptive story that God continues to write through our life today.

Have you ever thought of yourself as a disciple? What about a theologian? If you are a follower of Christ, you are both. We are called by Jesus to be disciples sent to make disciples, but we must first have a firm foundation in what we believe. Using You Are a Theologian as a framework, we will dig into the scriptures and gain a deeper understanding of our theology. We hope you join us for this ten-week study.

Encounters with Jesus – led by Cindy Saucer & Michelle Wurst

Have you imagined what it was like to chat with Jesus during His earthly ministry?  In this eight-week study, we will take a close look at people who did meet Him face to face.  In each session, we will focus on different men or women who had personal encounters with Jesus.  We will dig into these episodes in Scripture and see how He speaks to us today through them. All you need for this study is a Bible; any other materials will be provided.  Come join us!

Gospel on the Ground by Kristi McClelland – led by Beth Cash & Catherine Dellinger

The Gospel on the Ground is the story of how Jesus’ message of hope and reconciliation spread from Jerusalem and continues to spread throughout the world today. Join us for a seven-week study of the early years of the church as told in the book of Acts. We will learn that the kingdom of God is always on the move, offering purpose and joy to those longing for true fulfillment. Along the way we will come to understand the part we are meant to play in the redemptive story that God continues to write through our life today.

Mending Hearts

Join us the first Wednesday of each month in the Café at the Mt Laurel Campus, 9 am - 11 am.

Are you looking for a way to minister to others in our community? If so, we would love for you to be a part of the Mending Hearts ministry. Each month we meet and make pillows for patients who have had open heart surgery. This is a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with other ladies while serving those in our city. Sewing is not a requirement! We need help cutting fabric, stuffing pillows and tagging them. If you do sew, we would appreciate you bringing your machine to help with the sewing. Moms INC (Moms In Need of Community) is for moms with children of all ages and stages of life. We strive to provide a Christ-centered time of fellowship and a place to share the joys and challenges of motherhood. As we build this community, let’s take our burdens, worries, and victories to the Lord and receive His peace together as a community of moms who love the Lord and pray together.

We will meet the first Tuesday of the month, 9:30 am-12 pm, September* through May at the Mt Laurel Campus of Double Oak Community Church, Room C22-23 in the Community Building. *Due to Labor Day, the first meeting will be September 12th.

Join us from 5:30 pm-8 pm on Friday night, April 19th for a special evening of hearing powerful stories of God's redemption and healing! For dinner, we’re bringing back a Women's Ministry favorite from Ashley Mac's and serving Lemon Rosemary Chicken with Roasted Potatoes and Mandarin Orange Salad! Dinner will be $15 with a RSVP deadline of Monday, April 15th.
