Night of Prayer + Worship
Wednesday, July 19th at 6:30pm-7:30 pm
Mt. Laurel campus | Worship Room
Come out for a special evening of extended worship and communal prayer all together as a church! Worship will be led by Steven and Amanda Potaczek. There will be opportunity to receive personal prayer, pray for others, and pray for our surrounding community during this night where we seek God's presence together. The service will last for around an hour and will be interactive in each element. Childcare for Birth-PreK will be available.

Join us at Double Oak-Mt Laurel as our choir and band presents HymnSING!
This evening we will enjoy some of the greatest hymns of the faith, plus Gospel music from the choir and special guests, CHRIS ADAMS and ERIN HAISTEN! Our HeartSing Choir will begin practicing Aug. 17 at 6:30 pm. HeartSing! is open to any adult who wants to participate. We will present a special Hymn Sing evening on October 2nd at 6 PM, plus we will sing one Sunday a month during the Fall.

The Choir of Double Oak Community Church-Mt Laurel will lead an evening of hymns on Wednesday May 11 at 7 PM in the main Worship Room. Special guest soloists include Chris Adams and Haley Houston. The Double Oak Band will also have several special bluegrass players joining them for the evening. We will enjoy songs like:

Because He Lives
And many others…this will be a special night of worship (no preaching) with some familiar favorites. We hope to see you there!
HeartSing Choir-Rehearsals
Mt Laurel Campus
This is choir at our Mt Laurel Campus that sings often in worship services. We will be singing on Easter morning and leading a church-wide Hymn Sing on Wednesday May 11th at 7 PM.
Rehearsals are Wednesday March 30-Wednesday, May 4 (ending with our Hymn Sing event on Wednesday May 11). We will meet each Wednesday during this time at 6:30 PM in the main worship room for rehearsal. Childcare is available by reservation to Cindy Barksdale at cbarksdale@doubleoakcc.org.

Don’t miss this special night of worship on Wednesday, September 29th! This is a gap week in between Double Oak University terms so we are planning to spend some extended time as a church family in worship together in the experience of Ephesians 5:19-20 – “Be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Preschool and Children’s activities will be offered, students will join us for worship. Dinner is available before the service by reservation. Dinner will be served at 5:45 and the service will take place from 6:30 – 7:30. We hope to see you there!

9 am & 10:45 am • The Sunday before Christmas will highlight the full choir of Double Oak, accompanied by the band with feature guest percussionist Mike Panepento, and Cellist Libby Cowart. Mike, Libby, and our own Sandy Stephenson will join the choir and a host of musicians from Double Oak to present a beautiful morning of carol singing that climaxes with a breathtaking version of Beethoven’s ODE TO JOY and JOY TO THE WORLD!
9 am & 10:45 am • Join the choir of Double Oak as they welcome guest soloist Rachael Mann! Rachael’s recognizable voice and love for Jesus has taken her all over the U.S. singing the truth about God and His love. She has opened for Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee, Hezekiah Walker, and Jars of Clay along with other noted artists such as J. Moss, Salvador, Lincoln Brewster, and Big Daddy Weave. You will be blessed to hear Rachael with the Double Oak choir!
9 am & 10:45 am • Christmas and children just seem to go together, don’t they? There is something about having the kids sing at Christmas that enhances our worship and anticipation of Christmas Day! Join us for a special celebration of Christmas with the children’s choir, string quartet, and the Double Oak band.
The great hymns of our faith have helped form our spiritual foundations. The Church of Jesus Christ has been built on the Word of God and has sung hymns that have reflected that Word. Come join us on Sunday evening February 24th for a hymn sing that will be much more than just a musical “walk down memory lane”. We will all sing, and as a Community of faith, remind each other and celebrate together, what is true of our God. We will lean on His word and trust in what He has said about Himself for generations! It will be a night of singing and worshiping as the Body Of Christ. Bring your own hymnal and join us!
