It has been a busy season here at Double Oak. Community Group leaders

have been on the front lines of this ministry in our church. Week in and week

out they tirelessly lead, encourage, disciple and create real community in our

groups. Thank you so much for all you do in making our church a place that

people want to connect in community. Our pastoral staff believes a time of

refreshment, rest, and reset is what our community groups need at this time.

We will be taking the month of July off in our Community Groups (for

ALL ages). This doesn’t mean community has to stop. It presents us with other

ways we can experience community outside of a Sunday. Find some rest, but

also connect in community whether it be a cookout or going to a Baron’s game.

Community Groups will resume on August 4.

Also, please remember that we will not have Kids Worship starting today.

Mr. James and his crew need some time to renew and refresh. We look forward to

having the kids during our regular Worship Services with their parents this Summer.

Kids Worship will return on August 11!

Preschool childcare will be provided for Birth-PreK

as you attend worship this Summer.
