We are so excited to bring back our Annual Picnic at Double Oak Community Church-Mt Laurel! This has always been a great time of community and connection for our faith family, and we can’t wait to see you there and visit with you.

Make plans to join us after the second service on Sunday, September 25th in Mt Laurel Park. We will have boxed meals available from Full Moon that includes a Boxed BBQ Sandwich meal (pork or chicken) with baked beans and chips for adults or a Boxed 1/3 lb. Hamburger meal for kids with chips, and drinks for everyone!

If you have a specialty dessert we would love for you to bring that to share. Because we will be outside and serving people quickly, we do ask that you bring a non-refrigerated and individually, pre-sliced dessert. You can drop your dessert off at the designated table in the Commons when you arrive to church Sunday morning, and we will transport the desserts to the park for the event.

This is truly a fun event for the entire family. Our Preschool and Children’s ministries will have FREE bounce houses for the kids. It is a great time to visit with friends, your community group and our church staff. This is also the PERFECT DAY to invite a friend to come and worship with you and join us for the picnic.

Please keep in mind that this is a casual event that will be held outside. So, we encourage you to dress comfortably and SHOW YOUR TEAM PRIDE by wearing your favorite team colors that Sunday. We will be outside in the park so please bring a blanket or some chairs to sit on. Feel free to bring a pop up tent or canopy to use as well.

We do need some help setting up, serving and cleaning up for this event. If you are willing to serve for a volunteer slot please sign up!
