Provides food for children and families battling food insecurity whenever and wherever needed while pointing them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
King’s Home
Provides Christ-centered homes and services to youth, women and kids seeking refuge, hope and help from domestic violence, neglect, abandonment, homelessness, and other difficult and impoverished conditions and circumstances. A place where compassion resides, where love dwells, and where hope lives through Jesus Christ.
Ministry Training Institute of Samford University

Provides quality biblical, theological, and practical ministry courses that equip ministers and lay leaders for service to God for those who do not have the financial means to attend a 4-year school.
OneLife Ministries

Assists women through the written Word of God to regain their life. Located in Trafford, AL, this ministry provides a faith-based, God-centered life recovery program for women.
Shelby Baptist Food Bank
Shelby Baptist Association’s Hunger Ministry provides food, baby food, diapers (baby and adult), household cleaning supplies, personal hygiene and feminine hygiene products to families in crisis.

Assists those in poor underserved communities by addressing food insecurities and lack of basic health resources.
Christian Service Mission
Serves the greater Birmingham area for Christ and works alongside churches in order to build healthy communities that reflect oneness with Christ.

Provides food, clothing and helps paying bills to needy families.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES:
Blanket Fort Hope
Supplies therapeutic housing, support services, foster-care training and ongoing advocacy to child survivors of human trafficking.
Presbyterian Home for Children
Provides a faith-based safe haven for children and their caregivers through programs which nurture, educate and equip individuals to become the fully functioning persons God created them to be.
Raleigh’s Place
Serves between 300-400 foster and adopted children and children in relative placement every year through foster homes, Camp 1:27, Katie’s Kloset and Workmanship Initiative.

Abiding Hearts Ministry
Cares for the homebound and elderly widows in our community.
Anchor Community Respite Ministry, Inc.
Provides fellowship and stimulation to people who are living with memory loss due to dementia or stroke. Anchor operates every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CT at Asbury UMC in Shelby County.

Offers spiritual, financial, emotional support, and “Home Away from Home” lodging to children and families on their pediatric cancer journey.
Awaken
Provides Gospel-based and therapeutically sound recovery resources and community for people impacted by sexual brokenness, addiction and trauma.
Hearts in Hand, Inc.
Shares God's grace and shows God's love by serving the community. This includes low-income homeowners in Jefferson and Shelby County, primarily the elderly and disabled, who need assistance to stay safely in their homes.
Libby’s Friends
Seeks to ease the financial burden of people living with a disability.
Rainbow Omega
Seeks to glorify God by ensuring that adults with developmental disabilities have a safe home where their abilities and potentials are respected and nurtured in a Christian environment.
Samaritan’s Purse

Provides spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world and promotes the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. This global organization meets needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love and through His Son, Jesus Christ. * DOCC contributed a one-time monetary donation to help with Hurricane Helene recovery efforts.
Sav-A-Life, Inc. (dba Alabama Pregnancy Test Center)
Serves women, men and families facing an unplanned pregnancy situation.
